(E) It is so refreshing to see teenagers fighting together for climate justice, many of them marching today in particular, in Manhattan and Washington D.C. Those teenagers simply want the protection of their “rights and access to the natural resources and a clean, safe, and healthy environment that will ensure a livable future where they will not just survive, but flourish.”

The fact that teenagers are determined about climate change is a clear message to all of us that it is time for bold actions from everyone and every organization. As wisely stated by Zero One and the Zero Platform, the organization behind the marches today “youth voices were almost always ignored in the conversation around climate change and the profound impact that it would have on young people.
