(E) Over the years, I have noticed more and more RVs parked on the streets of Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Redwood City. I cannot believe that a solution has still not be found to offer a place for those families to sleep not on the roads but in a decent location which include at least restrooms and showers.
The Palo Alto Weekly has written an article “Living on four wheels: The people inside the RVs on Palo Alto’s El Camino Real.”
The article describes the life of those families, “some call their RVs a home away from home, but others say it is all they have”.
All those people either work in low-paying jobs for technology companies or support the infrastructure for technology companies.
Note: The picture above is from El Camino in Palo Alto.
