(E) The New Yorker interviewed John Barry, the author of “The Great Influenza” and an expert on the Spanish flu pandemic. He explains, in the following video, the parallel between the influenza epidemic of 1918 and the coronavirus pandemic of 2020:

Mr. Barry wrote also an article in the NY Times: “The Single Most Important Lesson From the 1918 Influenza“.
