Covid-19 – Day 155: An Open Source Ventilator for Covid-19 Patients

(E)  I have heard many times Professor William Dally from Stanford University and nVIDIA’s Chief Scientist talking about training deep learning systems on GPUs.

During the shelter, Professor Dally led the development of an open-source, proportional solenoid valve ventilator – OP-Vent – that can be built for around $400.

Following is a video of the ventilator:

Hoping that this ventilator will be of great use both in poor countries that have no ventilators and rich countries that are in urgent need of more ventilators.

Note: The picture above is the OP-Vent ventilator.
