(E) One of my favorite fun activities, every Fall, is to attend a performance of the San Francisco Opera. And to select which opera performance I will attend, I usually like to go to the San Francisco in the Park concert, an event at the Golden Gate Park where usually a few arias of the upcoming season are presented.

But this year is again different! Fortunately, the Opera is streaming some of its past performances in October and November. And this week-end, I watched the 2014 production of Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera with Music Director Nicola Luisotti. It is not the same experience as being at the Opera but still…
