No French Wines on your Table for 2021

(E) You can see the effects of global warming in your plate, and and in your glass. Warm weather in France earlier this Winter, followed by cold weather in the early Spring has destroyed most the French vineyards in Bourgogne, Bordeaux, Pays de La Loire, Touraine (home to the Vouvray – one of my favorite white wines distributed in California), and Champagne, Alsace, and Jura.

Many winemakers lit candles, and burned bales of hay to try to protect their vineyards but without much success.

So do not expect now much French wine in your glass for 2021.
