The Pegasus Spyware

(T) The Pegasus spyware is quite impressive. Developed by the NSO Group in Israel and sold to governments across the world, it has been capable of collecting passwords, reading text messages, tracking calls, tracking locations, accessing the iPhone’s microphone and camera, and gathering data from iOS apps.

Identified first by Amnesty International and reported many times by the media in the last few months, it has been widely used to target journalists and political leaders.

Le Monde has reported a few days ago that the phones of five French ministers could have been hacked by Pegasus.

Apple recently patched a zero-day vulnerability that affected iPhones, iPads, Macs and Watches discovered by the Citizen Lab.
