The Destruction of our Forests: Brazil, Senegal, and France

(E) Our worldwide forests are so precious but we are doing a pretty good job to destroy them. Brazil is losing the Amazon in order to produce and export beef and soya. Senegal is losing its beautiful rosewood trees so that China can manufacture, and sell worldwide high end furniture. And in France, cities in the Southern Alps are generating revenues from destroying their own forests, and renting deforested areas to produce solar energy (yes, we need clean energy but there are much better ways to produce it than destroying existing and irreplaceable forests and ecosystems).

Note that Brazil, China, and France had terrible droughts this year.
